NONI |
 |
Hawaiian Noni is a pure,
natural product with a rich tradition
among the peoples of Polynesia. The
health promoting benefits of Noni have
been chronicled for generations among the
peoples of Hawaii, South Pacific, New
Zealand, Australia, Malaysia, India, and
the islands of the Caribbean. It is known
among some peoples as the Pain Killer
Plant, Grand Morinda, Cheese Fruit,
Headache Tree and many more. The fruit of
the Noni plant is treasured throughout
Polynesia for its unique health benefits.
Traditional Polynesian healers have used
the fruit of the Noni plant for thousands
of years to address a variety of health
disorders such as diabetes, high blood
pressure, arthritis, poor digestion,
bruises, sprains, skin afflictions,
menstrual cramps, conditions of aging and
many more. It is considered a strong
blood purifier, and cleanses the body of
harmful bacteria. Dr. Ralph Heinicke
pioneered the study of the alkaloid
xeronine, which is abundant in the Noni
fruit. Dr. Heinicke's work has led to the
understanding of why Noni has such a
tremendous impact on the human body. The
compounds in Noni actually work at the
cellular level to cause cell regeneration
and increase cell function. In a report
to the 83rd Annual Meeting of the
American Association for Cancer Research,
in May 1992, the Noni fruit was shown to
significantly prolong the life of mice
which had been implanted with Lewis lung
carcinoma cells. Studies show Noni's
potential to stimulate the immune system,
inhibit the growth of tumors, regulate
proper cell function and actually
regenerate damaged cells. It is truly
rare to find a product so rich in
scientific validation.
